Will begin with an apology, this is my first post so my formatting is likely not perfect and I am honestly far more of a explorer than a photographer, however given the site is what got my into urbex many years ago, I feel that I should contribute.
Firstly, the view down the initial descent into the system. As things go, not particularly challenging but the slate can get rather slippery
after around 50m (complete guess) of descent, you reach a turn to the right, leading into the first chamber, which doesn't contain a huge amount of artifacts other than two small stone structures
to the rear of the chamber are several adits, with one leading deeper which I will revisit later, for now I continue under the gantry.
Looking back towards the first chamber
continuing to follow the track through this adit, you reach sections where there is evidence of the "recent" copper wire theft within the system
As you continue through this adit you pass through several large chambers, which my phone camera does not do justice
One chamber features what looks to be a self loading minecart? (I have no idea what I am on about). This is the point where I decided to head back to the first chamber to progress to lower levels.
Heading back to the first chamber, you pass multiple offshoots into what I assume to be older sections of the working, along with more evidence of copper theft.
Once back to first chamber, you can take an adit which leads to the top of the descent to this chamber, one of the more interesting in my opinion.
Plenty of cool artifacts in this section, which again sadly my phone camera does not do justice
Taking the accessible adit from this section leads to the first underground winding house, with a descent deeper into the system, which sadly I did not have time to visit.
Following the track into the adit, leads through several chambers and a winding house, however it all looked rather "samey" to the previous so didn't get many pics other than the minecart bellow
Eventually, you'll reach another winding house, with a few artifacts kicking about, sadly no photos past this point as £10 headlamp died and had to navigate out with phone torch
Far from the best photography, but if nothing else hopefully it serves to show that the site is still accessible
