1960s closure. The last post to be built in Leicestershire. Built in 1966 and closed in 1968. The WW2 Aircraft observation post was in a different location. The post is used by radiohams as a repeater station, the post is locked and there's a camera mounted on the aerial in a box. There are 3 large concrete blocks nearby that look like they have been used for the base of some thing.
