Little History:
Opened in the early 1900's this was the second Masonic Hall in Pontefract. This was used as a community hall once the Masons moved out in the late 60's. Since then it has had a number of uses including a gym and leisure centre. The only real clue that this was ever a Masonic Hall was the Freemasons Crest on the staircase window which is now sadly destroyed also.
