Well this was my first attempt at mine photography, first trip down a mine too, and I'm relatively pleased with some of them, had a great time towards the end of the trip sorting through old bottles, bones and other randomness that had been used as backfill, unfortunately because of the interesting climb up I didn't take my camera for fear of dropping/breaking it but Edd got some shots up there so might add them on.
We were down Wood mine which was worked between 1857 and 1877, the mine was left unsealed when it was first closed and it wasn't until 1964 that the entrances were blocked off.
