History:
The Molson Coors Brewing Company is a North American brewing company, formed in 2005 by the merger of Molson of Canada, and Coors of the United States. It is the world's seventh largest brewer by volume. There have been a number of breweries in Alton since 1763. Coors Brewing Company (among the ten largest brewers in the world) had a brewery in Alton for fifty years, which produced Carling, Grolsch and Worthington. It closed in 2015 because it lost all of its work from Henieken
The Visit:
Well what can i say i had a tip of from a fellow explorer that this place was open so a few of us decided to take a trip to Alton to check it out. So we arrive and my god this place is huge, so so big!!! As we find our way in, which didn't take long! We find ourselves surrounded by huge tanks and masses of pipe work all in pristine condition and when i say huge they are massive. There must be hundreds of them all round the building. So we made our way around finding that every door we opened took you in a different direction along another corridor the power was still on. It takes a while to get used to the light sensors which make a beeping noise as the lights come on. We eventually came to the offices and science labs which i have to say are pretty empty but there are a few little gems still inside This place is well worth a visit and it is amazing inside, there are builders there but hardly anything has been touched. I didn't get many pictures of the tanks because i don't have a wide angle lens. Visited with @UrbexCamo & @Tizmeister Thanks for looking
