New to urban exploring and looking for someone to help me get started.

I’ve never explored abandoned places, I have explored abandoned mines and caves though. I’d love to get into urban exploring, I’ve no idea where to start, I’ve looked through the forums and searched my local area (Cheshire). I’m hoping I could join a public meet or find someone who doesn’t mind leading an exploration with me. I’m happy to return the favour by taking you caving/mine exploring. Thank you.
