Not seen any recent reports on this place so thought id go have a look.Not much left here but had to go have a look at the clock if nothing else.
Newsome Mills stands right at the heart of the village of Newsome (in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire,).
Newsome grew up around it. The main four storey mill building towers over Newsome and its residents. It can be seen on the hillside from all over Huddersfield.
The mill is well loved in the village of Newsome, having provided employment for many generations of locals over the years.
The main four storey building and clocktower and a small buiding at rear remains which are now grade II listed and there is a campaign within the local community to save them from further damage.The owner of the mill plans to convert the building in to apartments.

the bottom bit has and the whole thing moves about theres just the 9 steps you can see all the bottom ones are gone

Yes, but I seem to remember a picture of just the central column and no steps.

Might be a different place, too many epics around these parts.
