Unsure if these are any good and would like a bit of criticism but go easy! First time i've tried a night shot with long exposure & my tripod!

Taken from the top of my dads garden, Overlooking Oldham & Manchester

Florescent city lights, especially when reflected off a cloudy sky, can play havoc with your white balance. You'll need to correct in post if you don't sort it in camera, which means shooting Raw ideally :thumb

I shot in both jpeg and raw all the time, what software do you use to edit afterwards ?

I only have a netbook aswell so need to invest in a good laptop!

To name 2, photoshop and Lightroom but you can also use the software that you got with your camera.

Theres Gimp which is a free program, dont know what its like with RAW tho

just got lightroom so ill see if it works on my netbook and start having a play to see if its easy to use!

Just need a bigger memory card for raw files now!
