Men of Industry - Zeche DB - misc 35mm film


Zeche DB was under demo as we were visiting, the intense silence of the site was only occasionally broken by the demo team scratching around outside, and very very occasionally interrupted by someone else inside the building.
Many many times we would be stopped in our tracks by rapidly approaching footsteps, or doors moving nearby, fresh footprints over the top of ours confirmed this.
During an extended bout of 'which way is he coming from' we went for a ratch in one of the workshops.
This one was a full inch deep in coal dust all over, as were we.
A concept was dreamt up, and then it was shot in full 35mm random film glory.
