I'm actually laughing just looking at this.

Germany's Essen coal field is a ridiculous place, filthy hot live industry all around interlaced with semi live and derelict industry of all kinds, and between that, hot german girls and bakeries.

Those germans LOVE their baked products, as do I.

Even now I have no idea what mines and how many we actually did, it was mostly a case of finding one on the map, and tankscplatz'ing the place.

This one was Cabbage de' Beer grin face or something, partly a museum, partly a playground.

Rolling into town late in the day, the museums last tour had already departed, instead we tankschplatz'ed right through the front gate, through the coffee shop area then took our own car guided tour of the mine.

Jumped out of the car and right into a 150ft concrete vagina, then played on trains (see above photo), then when done, drove back out of the closed museum via the coffee shop area again, spreading gravel in the face of the musuem curator who shouted awesome german profanties at us in some kind of foreign language.

Driving down the road I was laughing so hard we had to pull over before there was an accident in my pants.
