Thank you, I used to play there is the 70s when my dad was playing cricket. I still live down the road. I'll have to see if I can have a nose when I go past. I don't remember there being anything obvious, but I wasn't the most observerant of children.

Yep I played there too in the 60s and 70s, living in Spring Grove Road at that time. Pedestrian entrance was just off of the Great West Road down a slope but it was always impenetrable to us as kids. Would love to see it get explored....

Was it possible to see where the original public entrance was? I've never quite worked that out from the outside...

The tennis court at the end always smelled of rotting grass, where they put all the cuttings. It would be good to see if it was a shelter.
