Hello, been doing some research into RAF Kirton Lindsey. Previous Urban explorer reports have all been from around 2014, i was wondering if anyone knew much about the current state of the RAF base, whether it’s still in use etc... thank you

I was posted there for 7 years as part of the AD Regt Wksp in the 80s. There was a suggestion for a recycling centre a couple of years ago. Don't know what happened to that proposal.

The site has security, incl dogs.
Its used for police training,
It’s also used by multiple company who work there 24/7 with security, cameras and people who will escort you very quickly off the site!
I wouldn’t go there!

How long you been working there? Are Sundays and Bank Holidays still good? Lol

Funily enough a mate of mine was working doing some mechanics training on site this week, he managed to get in the mess building that the p[olice use for training & sent me a load of pics!
