I'd like to thank Ben for giving me this idea to write this report, and the Bristol Bandits for leading the way. This report was based on the operations conducted by the 28DL Meet in October. Many of us were there that night at Bristol so this report should not be unfamiliar.

The objective of the night was to get to the rooftops around The Bear Pit, a roundabout near Central Bristol.

Images of the nearby buildings, around the Bear Pit. These images were taken on May 2023, and since then intensive scaffolding has been placed around the buildings which consisted of student accommodation and a Holiday Inn. The building with the "360" was now a construction site, and the scaffolding would prove beneficial. Many of the buildings around the Bear Pit have connecting roofs, and opposite the Bear Pit is the "Avon House", a 18-story building under redevelopment. Our operation would be less tall, at 7-8 stories.

Security personnel in the area was quite sparse. After we made swift entry, a viable route up to the roof was discovered.

The rooftops were well connected and navigation was straightforward. In most areas, there was ample space between the edge of the roof such that it was easy to forget there was nothing between us and 25 meters of freefall. Some of the rooftops though were covered with air ducts, leaving a small gap of 30-40cm between the edge and a long, long fall.

I hope this image successfully portrays the dimensions of these rooftops.

The night is more richly colored than the day, and twice as serene. The commuters were replaced by joyful students on their first night out, and our location had an excellent view of a nearby open-air bar (sadly no pictures).

The building to the centre-right is the former Premier Inn, now stripped.

After a few hours of faffing about, we left the area without issue.

A FEW MORE PICTURES:

The build site of the "360" building. At some point, we spotted a fox trotting about.

I don't know why I took a picture of this. It looked cool though.

Anyways, that's all I've got. I hope to see you guys in Birmingham in April, or potentially even earlier. If there's anything on here that would be compromising, please let me know and I will remove it.
