Following on from Perfectzebra's thread and not wanting to hijac his post...
My photos from RWP...An awsome site, and full credit goes to Perfectzebra for finding the place and sorting a way in!
I was suprised and somewhat shocked to walk around a corner and see a little old lady standing in the gift shop through the doorway infront of me trying to decide which plate would look best on her mantlepiece......So I guess we found the active part of the site
Glazes:
The headless lady...
Legless man:
Im always amazed at the ornate detail that they put into these old factories..
Storeroom:
Workshop:
Quite a cool box of cine film which appeared to show examples of how they made and painted various pieces
Windless:
Machinery (powered by a 1930s ish 210hp electric motor):
Myself and perfectzebra....
A nice sunday afternoon...Chears
