Hello, Everybody...
I have recently explored the Sandhar & Kang (SK Building), and I was able to document my exploration.
The Brief History
Sandhar and Kang 'SK Building formerly George J. Mason LTD. Grocers. This building was originally used as the headquarters for the grocery stores owned by George J. Mason LTD, which was a chain of grocery stores around the West Midlands area that was birthed in the Black Country, and eventually, the head office came to Birmingham in 1922.
It then in later years became a warehouse for the Indian cash & carry firm (Sandhar & Kang). It was sold off to a developer in 2017, but has since lay dormant.
My Exploration
The building itself is in a poor state, and is severely hazardous as each floor was covered in debris and graffiti.
I was able to take my photographs and film my footage within an hour.
I was unable to find much history or remanence other than old signage, due to the building being in such a miserable state.
During my exploration I ran into a friendly squatter, though I have edited them out of the footage due to respecting their privacy.
