Wow! What a great mine and bloody well reported on to boot. This one is on my "next trip to Blighty" list.

Amazing photos, my dad went for a tour down this mine about a month ago with a few other people, he mentioned about crossing a shaft on some unfixed steel pipes which had been placed across as a makeshift walkway...!
