Just for completeness, was on my way somewhere and it was 200m from the A5.
Post still capped with a large depth of concrete held in place by iron bars and wooden panelling. Post is also in a well kept compound, and has a bench next to it with a plaque reading "Karls View".
Surfaces features in good condition.
