yep it's still there, can't be demolished as it's a SSSI so it would disturb the lesser spotted woodlice or whatever lives there.
It's not like it used to be but still worth a visit if your in the vicinity.

Those kilns are always worth the shot. if anything it hasn't changed in a while.

It's not an SSSI, it's just part of the National Park. There have been proposals for regeneration - https://www.southdownproject.com/ and https://www.zedfactory.com/shoreham-cement-work

No planning applications as yet though.

my mistake, I thought it was a sssi that's why all the previous building proposals were rejected.
Would be a shame to see this place go.
