What’s the security like these days? Still to the same level previous posters have mentioned?

Me too. We’ve tried 5 times now and been escorted off site twice by security. This place has become my nemesis

Are security quite quick to respond to alarms etc. Or do you have a bit of time to evade them?

Went to have a scout around yesterday and see that they’ve widened the perimeter fence in the last year with a decent CCTV setup so you can’t get near the buildings!
would love to know the security guard on duty to see if we could come to a mutual agreement that would benefit us both.

We must of got lucky, we got straight in walked past all the cameras, didn't set off any alarms and didn't get bothered by anyone.

It occurred to me afterwards that they probably only have one guard on site and I had seen a guard on the drive area nearer to the road SO he couldn’t have been their AND watching the cameras...opportunity missed perhaps?

It was around 2 weeks ago, I posted a report on here. The security guard was sat in his car when we went so maybe he wasn't watching the cameras, there is to many to evade so we just walked straight past them all.

The last 2 times we’ve been there have been 2 security, a decent guy and the Arse who we think is the boss and mainly stays in the hut. I don’t think that the cameras are monitored on site, don’t know about the alarms. We’ve just been unlucky in our timings, saying that we keep saying that after 5 attempts we may have to admit defeat on this one

Went for a look today and their was 2 guards, one approached us near the old cemetery and escorted us off site, told us a bit about the history, he said Savills own the place now after the last owner died but I thought Savills were estate agents??? Also said English heritage had been round and told them health and safety was poor, hence the increased security, and that the Stoney Brow way that we entered through would have fencing on it due to the risk of falling trees.

Looks like you managed to get a decent set of photos so good effort Been lucky enough to get in on both my visits, think we spent 6 hours in there last time.
