Many thanks to you guys for taking the trouble to show us these wonderful buildings. If you are ever there again, I would love to see photos of the turret clock (made by Thomas Cooke of York) - if you decide to do this, take special care, as clocks are generally situated at height in locations which are the first to deteriorate.
The clock at St Joseph was made in 1885, two trains (going and strike) with a pinwheel escapement and in relatively good condition, in 2014.. The external dials looked like new!

Copy of the Cooke clock attached - this was taken by urban explorers in 2014. Do you know of any other photos of either the clock or its special Cooke case? Thomas Cooke made about 120 turret clocks in total sounds a lot but is small compared to the competition.

Beautiful building- religious significance comes through the pictures.
How can anyone let a building like this, and above all its contents, which could easily be recycled, just slowly deteriorate.
