Third stop on my 320 mile round trip. Another failure. The proximity to the beach means that salty air has seized the T-bar cover. I was unable to move it using conventional methods. I could have went back to the car and got a bigger tool for the job, but this post is very overlooked, and I thought it would look bad if I approached this with a crowbar.

The sand has shifted and parts of the observation room are being uncovered. I would expect this will be pretty exposed over the next couple of years.
Can you tell where it is yet?
Buried dome indicates this was a master post. No evidence of guying points visible
That tantalising hatch with it's seized cover
A return visit suitably tooled up is definitely required.
