Information - Stratfield Turgis ROC Post Hampshire

On a very miserable Saturday the 12th of October 2019, I set out to find the Stratfield Turgis Roc Post, I have only seen one post one subbrit from 2010, a video from 2018,

When I arrived at the location of the Roc post, I saw it was being restored by someone, so as I approached I presumed the post would be locked and I was correct, the hatch is locked with new padlocks and a metal bar preventing access, all surface features have been painted white apart from the BPI pipe, which is black and half of the shaft is painted white, also only one guying point is visible.
A reservoir is located next to the roc post, with the hatch ripped off. The reservoir has no connection but the reservoir is full of water
The compound post are still in situ as well as the gate.

yeah, good to see more posts being restored, Id recommend in the future cutting down a few of them similar pictures of the post, as you really are just taking a picture of the same external features but from a different side,

Me and @jack watkins have been restoring this post for the past 8 or so months, since February. We noticed that you were going around the other posts in the area (such as Shurlock Row and Streetly) so tried to get in contact with you many times to ask you not to post a report like this incase it brings any unwanted attention to the post.

**Also as a disclaimer there is nothing of any value left in the post when we are not there**

Just ignore them, I'm sure you didn't know don't let them put you off other Roc posts in the future, just don't return to this one

i wasnt trying to put you off i was just a bit taken back by the fact we reached out to you very politely asking if you'd avoid it for a bit. i believe i even offered to unlock it for you to have a look when it was looking a bit better.

Yea I would love to look inside maybe I could do that on my 18 birthday and when I get a car in 7 years but for now I will just rely on my mom taking me to roc posts and pill boxes near Berkshire because we can't afford to travel that far again

Thank you and yes i can understand that may be the case. i didnt want to seem confrontational about it all we are just very protective over the place at the moment as we have put a lot of time and effort into it
