It's bloody cold at the moment, and on this particular night the real plan was to act like moles and get underground, away from the frosty air which was chilling the capital to a cool 5 below zero. Unfortunately for us (and the poor rapid response man that was undoubtedly called out to deal with all the beeping we caused), our subterranean lurking was cut a bit short, leaving us with some time to spare before we called it a night. OllieGT and analepsis had been skulking round Stratford flirting with the potential of getting onto the terrorist watch list for a couple of hours, and by some stoke of sorcery hadn't yet contracted hypothermia. A couple of phone calls later and we hoping the fence to get some foggy views over North East London..
Our lofty pedestal for the night was 150 High Street. 40 floors worth of soon-to-be overpriced residential apartments being thrown up by the Ardmore group.
The project has faced numerous set-backs (being started around 2010) and will now be completed *just* after the Olympics has finished. Whoops.
