This historic Birmingham pub sits in the heart of the jewellery quarter. It has sat empty for many many years and is in a poor state of repair. The pub had a long thin bar, decorated with the ornate plasterwork and enormous stained glass windows that became standard the M & B pubs of the period. The pub is in such a state I was almost reluctant to post it up, but it's huge catacombs of cellars made it worth while!
Luckily the pub is set to be restored, but I am as yet unsure if it will open as a pub again...
Outside gents!! Brrrr!
