Report - The Old Grammar School Richmond August 2019

Got told about this place of another explorer as I didn't know much about the building itself.
Apparently there was plans to have the roof fixed and have turned into the community centre but planning was scrapped, been left derelict even since.
Beautiful building both inside and out, not much remained downstairs but the upstairs was full of stuff which I believe was what remained of the community centre.

Information i found regarding the funding to restore the school.
Plans to restore Richmond’s former grammar school into a community hub have been shelved after a bid for lottery funding was rejected.
Richmondshire Building Preservation Trust (RBPT) has been told their bid for £1.8 million in funding from the National Lottery Heritage Fund was unsuccessful.

Oh my god I went to school here many many years ago. These photos brought back so many memories thanks for sharing. I would love to go and have a look round and stroll down memory lane.
