The Works Drain, Manchester - March 2010
Getting through the list... Visited with Ojay, Jim Gillette and Urban Soldier.
Considering some of the brickwork is over 100 years old the drain is in good condition, Cant say that for the rusted bridge next to the penstock.
From the exit of the overflow pipe to the penstock chamber the drain has seperate features. A mix of Stone, RBP, A bricked up junction and a set of 12 stairs as well as Inhospitable running through the penstock chamber.
