Not gonna lie, i enjoyed it. Having worked in the restoration trade, i hated the waste some people produced when a 1880's pressed cement tile had a chip. if it went in the skip, it is fair game i said, i rescued 150 10" square clay floor tiles, tiles with Delft blue figures on it, slightly damaged pressed cement tiles, mozaic tiles from a altar floor and a meter of hard stone step. i had a laugh when the supervisor needed to buy items because it was thrown out to early and i transported things from Holland to the UK by the truck load.
