I passed this place many times over the years and worked out finally that it was disused!
I can find no info on the place, there is a sign that names Shell Lubricants and skips outside with Connell waste disposal. And the number is an 061 code which changed in 1995!
So after a couple of years it seemed prudent to go and have a look; the original entry point is gone but I found another!
It was a great end to the holidays! Sorry I have no more info, feel free to jump in!

These are photobucket links that have been working for years! But don't now for some reason!

Trafford Park Works! I got a little excited seeing that title, thought a little bit of hidden Metrovick had been discovered...

All gone ain't it? Would love to find remnants of the village but I believe it's only the roads that remain? I stand to be corrected though :)

I believe so sadly, would be nice if there's a hidden basement or something hidden in there somewhere though!
