Report - Ushaw Stable and Farmhouse, Durham - March 2015

Yep, I'm trying to get out as much as I can at the minuet,
But I have been mainly focusing on drains.

Was there recently hadn't been there long and some guy came along and asked us to leave just as well we didn't bother to venture inside.

Myself and a friend went here today, fantastic place, had a great look round the farmhouse then the larger building. Then when we were nearly done looking we heard a door bang, looked out the window and a bloke had closed and locked the door we came in through and was hanging around, presumably waiting to catch us trying to get out. Luckily we managed to find another way out but it involved a bit of a jump. So be warned, great place to visit but watch out for the guy, think he may live in a caravan on site.

There's a grounds keeper to the Ushaw sites, and I think someone lives in the house next door to the stable (no the abandoned farmhouse, the other one). As long as you're quiet you should have no problems.

Second site for me this weekend with Renton80 and have to say an amazing experience.
Great site, plenty of variety to the rooms etc and good foreboding look to the place from the outside.

Love, love, love this place, been here a few times. One of my fave places to go. Sadly the stable and barn were bordered up very well for a long time following a tragic incident. However, we went back there recently and also gained access to the barn. Well worth an explore.
