Good day all,
Finally have got round to posting my reports so here goes-
This visit was on a glorious sunny Sept 2019 day so perfect for a little stroll around the old Southern water sewage treatment works in Winchester!
This site was closed down and a new installation was set up nearby approx 20 years ago.
Sounds strange for a sewage treatment place but I have fond memories here as my dad use to work here back in the day and I remember visiting here many times as a teenager when he was on call and had to dash here on an emergency and I always use to go with him as company and an extra body!
As you will see from the pictures this place is heavily overgrown in places and if anyone else goes to visit please stick to the paths, this site still includes concrete overflow tanks with deep water in and large outdoor overflow pits that look just overgrown on top but have very deep water underneath,
Any questions please ask away, This is my first post on here so any constructive feed back would be grately appreciated, I took bucket loads of pictures but will narrow down to the best and most relevant ones!
Keep Exploring and have fun!
