This was a master post, a few inches of water cover the floor the sump pump is seized up.
Although this is close to where I live I never bothered looking as all previous reports have mentioned it locked. However somewhere between the last report on here in Aug 2009 and a report on the urbex forums in Aug 2010 the post is now unlocked.
Was nice to see that since subrit's visit 9 years ago the post remains in the same condition.
So decided to take a look, on arrival the post was easy to locate and to my relief was still unlocked (I did manage to lock the t-bar on leaving)
The post and land around it is owned by the regional development agency, this has been subject to a planning appliaction in 2003/2004 to turn it in to a biomass powerstation, which would have meant the post would have been demolished.... However this failed and the post survived
