Coumes Brook
First culvert is a stoopy one. Doesnt go past 5ft high except one bit. 2 Short sections.
First Section:
This section is short and all stone and brick, starts off at 5.5ft high, so wasnt too bad until it turns into 3ft high.
As you can see stood at the inlet here, 5ft+ height here but then goes to a very small weir and turns into 3ft stoopy stone arched tunnel, plus this small weir has a nice plunge pool meaning i filled a wader, nice...
Didnt stick around in this section as there was construction going on just above me, and at the outlet you come out directly next to this building.
Concrete at either side.
A short open section until...
...nice...
Second Section:
Stoopy metal pipe, great. 3ft or even less I was crawling and kept banging my head and getting spiders in my hair.
Little bit of water coming in.
Looking back next to the little pipe here.
Change from metal to concrete box here. A little roomier.
Thank god it isnt long, for some reason smelled like fresh here.
Sat on a stone here, my head is touching the roof.
Not happy hahaha, good to get this done though.
Switch from box to a nice stone arch, I can stretch my legs out here but my back is still bent fully.
Sewer pipe overhead?
At the moment i took this photo a bat decided to fly right into my face, dropping my phone in the water, thanks bat...
Finally out! At station lane bridge here.
A lovely outfall. Love that arch!
Wasnt much of an explore, but nobody has done this one, so there we are! Mods you can take this down if its abit crap.
End!
