That's one hell of a structure, report made an interesting read and stunning photos

I witnessed some of the sudden storms when working out there in 1996, a stormwater drain would be the last place you'd want to be. Mind you stood on top of some of the high rises when the thunder and lightening started was interesting especially if you were still on the ropes.

If Hong Kong has these systems, I do wonder if places like the Phillipines or Taiwan have similar systems? I know that Japan has a huge drainage system.
