The Nightsearcher larger models are well specced and bloody expensive. so if it"s anything like those models it should be fine

It's been damn decent so far! Probably built by the same factories that make the various ebay cheapies, but with better quality control and parts. I believe the 500 lumens rating, on the tightest beam I'd say it does a few hundred metres.

Anyone tried the Clas Ohlsen 500 lumens one? Big C/D battery monsters aren't really my thing, except maybe for self defense.
