Stunning place, great report.
Shame about herb, hope the money is found to turn it into a museum.
I would think crayons being harder to get off than chalk would have been for marking faults maybe.

That's stunning, something about tonnes of rusting machinery, old posters and chalk writing which is amazing to see.
