Always wondered what was up there, I love how the hoist door is still there in the third pic

Went on holiday to Scotland recently and while up there, had a look at this beam engine house. It was part of the now demolished Devon Colliery. The beam engine survives and was restored in 1993, being converted into office space. It currently sits vacant but locked. Included a photo of a Polo which has ended up perched on top of a couple of IBCs on the road to the building which made me laugh when I saw it.

Crigglestone once had two railway stations, both of which are now closed.
