I don’t know but it was recent because I was there yesterday there’s turning the space into housing complex’s it says

I’m down a rabbit hole on the Bedford planning portal and the onot reference for the old Rae site is to do with a refurbished of building 76, unless someone has stripped the interiors.

Be a shame, like many places I always meant to go lol

Sorting out some folders again, and came across some more vehicles from over the years. A mix of phone shots and from various cameras, and some very poor editing choices too. Starting with this burnt out Thames van a barn in Suffolk.

Loving the RX7 and Alfasud!

The RX7 disappeared just after this photo was taken! Most likely scrapped as last V5 was issued in 2004. The Alfasud is still there but getting progressively more and more crusty (surprise surprise), it's full of spare parts too.

My mate man gone wrong had been diverted and when he pulled over to check his map he spotted these huts. Whilst out we were going near these huts, we decided to have a look as he mentioned them. It turned out it was three old Orlit huts and a flooded Stanton Shelter. They belonged to former RAF Kirmington, and were used by the WAAF. At the end of the war they were used to house prisoners of war. Sadly was not enough here to do a report.
