[Terminal Decline]

I work in this building for over 25 years until it closed in February 2019. The pictures you see are of 3 different mills.
E mill built around 1989
F mill built around 1991/2
G mill 2004

Thanks for the information, it's interesting to know how the building developed. Was E mill constructed in what had been D mill, and do you know when the ABC mills closed?

D mill is the stoneground mill in the Hovis warehouse.
E mill was built in what was then the feeder mill
ABC mills closed just before I started about 1991
I would have liked to seen the Old mills running but just before my time from my understanding the old mills
were all leather belt fed. On the ground floor entrance to F mill there was a very large motor plate that would take hours to start before all mills could start.
