Twas the night before Christmas eve when santa, his little helper @GRONK and two non forum members accompanied by Jasper the reindeer dog went in search of some festive merry shenanigans.
I had originally wanted to come back here to further push some old lead workings but seen as it was Dan's first time here we decided to do the usual tourist trip.
Few months prior filming had taken place here for the upcoming 'Fantastic 4' and new 'Mission Impossible', seem to remeber photo's circulating of Tom cruise in an off road buggy entering via the Hotpon entrance.
The place had been somewhat tidied up in areas and new tarporlin sheets have been hung in the area near the burnt out car. Due to this the moisture was quite high in this area and lens fog was awful.
I preffer this place in the day as it looks quite photogenic with like beaming in via the windows and entrances but the added risk of being sealed in is deterring.
After spending around 5 hours we headed back out. Was good to squeeze a last trip in this year, look forward to More in 2025 and meeting some more new faces.
