Thanks for the light mate :thumb :D

You got some nice shots. That one with Raz is cool. Mine didn't come out so well.

Cheers mate ;)
I had to delete quite a few as he moved too much (not that i blame him having that shone in his face:) Due to that torch i had to darken the pics a bit .

Yours were fine ......well the ones i lit anyway ;)

Massive indeed mate & a time was had indeed :thumb

It's a pretty impressive place, ideally you need some form of motorised transport to get around the place though :thumb
Any images of the bikes in action?

Cavernous is how i"d describe it & Ideally yeah as proven by the lads on the Bikes, didn"t get any pics as it was too dark

Just wow. Enjoyed the other write-ups from this trip and yours was no exception, mate. Fabulous work - definitely need to get myself over there to see that one. Puts me in mind of the potash mine up this way in terms of scale.

Cheers mate :thumb
The Boulby mine is 35 degrees according to Countryfile last week and this ended up being about bloody Zero  or so it felt in the early hours with some kind of freezing fog creeping in for a while. I was shaking like a shiting Dog lol

Ace cool brill photies man :) this place is amazing!

Cheers mate :thumb

Don't believe everything you hear from Craven's mob. It might be 35-40 out at the working faces, but at shaft bottom, it's significantly colder. Not single digits, mind! ;-)

Yeah the cars seen better days that"s for sure. It seems a long time since MSP (who?) and the lads were driving their cars around inside. There"s some big drop offs that"s for sure, very sketchy in places.

As said before the sheer size is quite humbling, just a pity there"s no heavy plant knocking around where we were to photograph :(

Nice report. I thought that place had been closed down and had security on it? It had when I last visited. Mind you, what would I know? Ages since I logged on here and over 18 months since I last explored anywhere.
