Can’t argue with that, price for land of that scale must be huge, even without decontamination

Besides, I doubt it’s true but I heard from a local it’s owned by some oversea company with no interest in it currently, so work probably won’t start for a while
You’re potentially right. So many businesses are happy to sit on land for multiple years, maybe even paying fees such as security costs. I think it’s built into the business plan as an everyday cost. I work for a very efficient company and I often think with sites such as these that there spendng needless money…..but there 100% ok with it

Nice take on the place. Was a nightmare to get in here when we went about eight years ago. Worse that it was a cold winter's morning in the pitch black and rain, and I was sat on the roof waiting for my mate to decide if yo go over the gap of death. One I really would like to go back too.

Not complaining though, gives us a hell of an explore, even if I only managed to get in once it’s still the best place I’ve seen

It’s one of my best, St Joseph’s I’n upholland has more to it for me…but….as it’s got an injunction on it…..no go 😂
Love them both though!

My second favorite place after George Barnsleys, took me 3 visits to do all the main building without any of the outbuildings and still when i look at other peoples pictures i don't recognise some areas ;)

I really wonder how the copper thieves managed to burn all the wire in that building without the guard noticing

Nice pics it makes me want to do a revisit :)

About 2/3 years ago they just came on site and smashed a hole in the wall hense the large metal gates etc. I went down when they were on site. Weren’t their long but long enough to do a lot of damage.
