Sorry - I am late to the party.
I am staff at RLH. I have worked there since 1998 and this glass floor was one of the corridors to my department. We left in…2011 I think, and it became pre-admissions or similar.
What a blast from the past.
A characterful building filled, for me, with many, many wonderful memories. Where this glass floored corridor photo was taken from, if you turned back on yourself and taken the immediate left you would go down a tiny step and through a door which lead to a mezzanine corridor, there would be four rooms (well, three, and a cupboard), my office would have been the third door, then the cupboard, then out the other side of the corridor a staff toilet and onto one of the main staircases. Up, and left would have taken you to our clinic. Up and right toward our minor surgery area.
And if you are a believer, it is said by many different people who have never met eachother, to be haunted.
Wow, amazing. I miss those days.
